When Crystal said there was going to be a "pat down" I thought she was kidding...
but, no, she did not lie. When we arrived we presented id, handed over tickets and then proceeded to be patted down before we could enter the SUB, I think that may have been the first time I've ever actually had a pat down... anyway.
It was fun. more fun than I expected it, which was nice. Spent the whole time dancing, wandering increasingly sticky hallways, and being entertained.
"I'm just Kidding!" being the quote of the night (in the voice of Triumph the Dog of course)
Good times were had. I can't remember the last time I stayed up until 4am. it was worth it. (I only wish I'd gotted to hang out with Tara more, we had about a 2 min groove session then she was gone for the night)
Today me and Crystal lounged in pjs ate blueberry pancakes with Adam from downstairs, watched movies - pretty much slothed it.
I attempted to do some poetry revisions, but to no real constructive avail (not so good considering the portfolio os due tomorrow...) and then actually showered and biked it over to the Belfry Theatre for the Writing departments Grad Reading, which was very good. Every one read beautifully in my opinion. (I think the most nervous person was the host, my fiction teacher Sean Virgo, who is usually so nonchalant and confident it was surprising)
But, now it is time for work and sleep.
Only 5 days left!!!
