let's try...

Well, it's been an adventure so far. sorry there's been no posts or pictures, (this dial-up's proven more painful than I thought) but here's hoping this post works. :) I have my car, my lovely car (I will post a pic when i can) and I finally got in insured yesterday (yikes!) it still needs a little rust repair, but i like it. :) Oona got here on monday night, and we've been having fun "exploring Nelson"
On tuesday, we ate a yummy baker's Breakfast at the Bakery with delicious mochas, and then we wandered around nelson for a while (I took Oona around our Downtown street) Then we came home and lay in the sun for a couple of hours reading and generally enjoying the warmth and sunshine. We went for dinner at The Outer Clove, and fabulous resturant with garlic in pretty much every item. mmmmmm.... my lips were burning from it! Yesterday we took the Kootenay Lake Ferry across to Crawford Bay and explored, we got to see a beautiful Ashram, and glass blowing. Today there is going to be a trip to the Hotsprings! weee!

oh yeah, it has been really nice to see and hang out with the family! (We went bowling on my birthday hee hee!)
